An event every week that begins at 9:00 am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, repeating until January 30, 2019
Gentle Yoga Fundamentals: Come join volunteer Elaine, in her practice, and explore basic yoga breathing and poses with an emphasis on safe movement and proper alignment. The focus will be on flexibility, poise, body alignment, and balance with modifications for a wide range of abilities. For a safer, enhanced practice, participants are encouraged to wear clothing designed for movement, and bring a yoga mat, towel/blanket, a strap, and blocks. (Please allow 75 minutes, which allows for set up, questions, discussion, practice, cool down and clean up. Actual practice is 50-60 minutes.)
